Tuesday’s Cigar Tips (How to Put Out a Cigar)

As an avid cigar smoker, we all come up with different techniques and routines that work best for us prior to starting our smoking session and during it. Therefore, today’s cigar tip will discuss how to put out a cigar!

Putting Out a Cigar

Here is where the huge difference between a fine cigar and a cigarette differs if you didn’t already know, but you should never snuff out a cigar, as you would a cigarette. Meaning a cigar is never to be butted out and smashing the foot of the cigar into an ashtray like a cigarette.

With a cigar, you can just allow it to go out on its own accord. Cigars are truly 100% of the tobacco leaf and are not made with chemicals that cause them to continuously burn when placed in an ashtray, so simply letting the cigar extinguish itself, is okay! This is simply the best method to end a great cigar smoking experience.

Also, if you aren’t totally done with this cigar and would still like to smoke it later. You can clip the exposed end off of the cigar and come back to it later. Also, please read the article on how to relight your cigar for further details, please click here
