Tuesday’s Cigar Tips (Rotate your cigars)

As an avid cigar smoker, we all come up with different techniques and routines that work best for us prior to starting our smoking session and during it. Therefore, today’s cigar tip will discuss the importance of rotating your cigars.

Rotate your Cigars

It is a good idea to rotate your cigars in your humidor, roughly once a month, and when you do, move the cigars from left to right. The purpose of rotating your cigars will keep an even humidity level, which means a better aging environment, and they’ll burn and smoke better. Also, in addition to rotating your cigars, you can also flip your cigars. When you flip your cigars, you turn them, so the label is down, instead of up, and/or vice versa, depending on how they’re positioned in your humidor. Ultimately, it’s all about the cigar experience and ensuring your cigars are evenly humidified. Using this method will ensure your cigars burn and smoke to their utmost potential, which is the overall point for the experience.
