Gents and Cigar Sticks: Dapper Gent of the week is Marvin Davis, out of Brooklyn, New York.
There is something very special and unique about a gentleman, who is very polished, as it relates to his demeanor, his clothing style, cigar selection, as well as his drink of choice. For a distinguished gentleman, the path to elegance begins with the suit, the cornerstone of men’s fashion. For starters, a suit is simply a paired jacket with trousers, as a set that’s from the same cut, made from the same fabric, and intended to be worn together. However, the suit alone does not define fashion or personality. Because anyone, who is willing and able to, can purchase a suit, as well as have a tailored made suit, to their desire, but that does not define “The it Factor.” The suit’s personality comes from the rightful owner in that suit, who has made wearing the suit as one of the lasting and essential elements of his outfitting.
Marvin truly depicts the pure essences of what wearing a suit means. Aesthetically, you instantly notice a clean and professional look. There are no visible wrinkles anywhere on his clothing, which can be attributed to him taking a significant amount of pride in his appearance, as well as a sure sign of maturity. Being responsible enough to take care of your image is very appealing and attractive!
A man in a suit projects a certain degree of self-confidence in whatever situation he faces. Also, a man in a suit displays power, authority, and assurance, which all starts with the shoulders and how he walks.
If you’re comfortable enough in your suits and you begin to incorporate and enhance your style with ties and bow ties, briefcases, leather gloves, fedoras and scarves, Italian leather shoes, cuff links, and pocket squares, to name a few, then that ladies and gentlemen is indeed a “Dapper Gentleman.”
When you’ve mastered the art of fashion, then you can only go higher, by adding the essentials of fine premium cigars and bourbon, to the mix.
Marvin has been smoking cigars for a little more than three years. He has always been attracted to the whole mystique and elegance of cigars. Marvin loves the entire “Cigar Lifestyle” and “Cigar Culture.” Marvin’s drink of choice is D’usse, as well as an assortment of bourbon and whiskey.
Marvin is our “Dapper Gent” of the week, because of his impeccable style and fashion, his respect, admiration, and appreciation for the “Cigar Culture and Community,” and the flavor he his bringing to the streets of New York.
