Hello “Cigar Community” and “Cigar Family!” Thank you for joining us and reading another great article here at Red Lips and Cigar Sticks

Today’s dapper gentleman (Dapper Gent) of the week is Charles Chapman out of Houston, TX.

The most exciting attributes about each of our “Dapper Gent” features, is the level of versatility and unmatched characteristics, but how they all have an admirable and desirable passion for fashion, watches, and cigars. There are so many intricate details that are put into the effort of each of these gentlemen, to achieve their looks, which comes off very polished, poised, stylish, dignified, and uniquely distinguished.

Without further ado, our “Dapper Gent” of the week, Charles, who is truly a “Southern Gentleman,” as well as an avid cigar smoker of 17 years. Charles has a genuine love for cigars because he was first introduced to cigars by his grandfather, who was a cigar and pipe smoker.

It is always fascinating to me, to hear this scenario, regularly from our “Dapper Gent” features, because ironically enough, so many were first introduced to cigars by their grandfathers, which means they had a vital and intricate role in their lives, as well as majorly influencing our dapper gentleman to be stand-up men, because they idolized their grandfathers and aside from their relationships with their fathers, it’s the grandfathers, who solidly and wholeheartedly was a direct guiding force in their lives, and those moments and memories they all share, are priceless.

Charles fashion inspiration and influence, along with his character was developed by a combination of things such as him growing up and being around and surrounding himself with gentlemen of great status, respect, tenacity, and courageous men. These men had a certain level of confidence about themselves and how they conducted and themselves was shown in how they dressed, a variety of timepieces they owned, and/or by their career choices, and of course, by the cigars they smoked. Therefore, this has always inspired Charles to strive for excellence in all facets of his life. And, for this, he was chosen as our “Dapper Gent,” because of his good display of character and his fashion sense!

Charles’s favorite non-Cuban cigar would be the Nat Sherman Timeless 660 and his favorite Cuban cigar would be the Hoyo de Monterey Epicure Especial

When Charles is having his cigar, he likes to pair it with a port wine red or white, and/or the infamous cigars and coffee, it just depends on his mood.
