Review
A great flavor of black pepper, cedar, and sweetness. This is prominent through the first third. Into the second third and through the end of the session, more earthy tobacco and nutty flavors come into play. Well-constructed with the ash holding steady through the second third.
The retrohale was smooth and full of nutty, like cashews. A razor-sharp burn for most of a cigar and needed 1 touch up. Slow burn with billows of smoke.
This cigar had been aged for 5 years before lighting it up (as you can see from the brown wrapper) made it a very exquisite smoke. While it was my first time smoking this blend, it won’t be my last.
