Happy Three-Day Weekend, to those, who will be off for the extended weekend for Veterans Day! We hope that you get to enjoy time with your families and do some fun stuff together, or take a break to yourself because self-care is vital! Without further ado, thank you for joining us and reading another great article here at Red Lips and Cigar Sticks®. We are happy to have you as one of our new, and/or faithful readers!
Today’s Red Lips Fashionista of the week is Dallas Cigar Art Queen out of Dallas, Texas.
I am excited to share with you this feature on Dallas Cigar Art Queen. If you’re unaware, she’s, unfortunately, experiencing some hard times, and overall, she’s been through a lot in the course of two years, after leaving a very abusive domestic violent relationship. She was scheduled earlier in the summer for this week’s feature, and I inquired, if she still felt comfortable, since things were getting so personal and complicated for her. And, she obliged me to move forward.
With all the circumstances, roadblocks, and uncertainty, Dallas Cigar Art Queen, never gave up on her faith and strength, to keep herself afloat and looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. She’s currently working at Elite Cigar Café located in Addison, TX, which she is grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support she’s received from the “Cigar Community” with financial contributions, as well as helping her to obtain permanent/compensated employment, as she does volunteer with Cigars for Warriors.
We’re pulling for this “Sister of the Leaf” that she continues to beat the odds against her and continues to soar!
Dallas Cigar Art Queen was introduced to cigars 18 years ago, by her uncle. She has a large social media following and she creates some very unique and one of a kind eye-catching videos while blowing smoke and having a cigar.
Dallas Cigar Art Queen likes to have Bulleit Bourbon while having a cigar. She enjoys several brands of cigars such as LFD, Kristoff, J.C Newman, CAO, Punch, Back2backcigars, Steve Saka, Drew Estate, Nat Sherman, and Joya de Nicaragua, to name a few.
Dallas Cigar Art Queen really takes pride in volunteering with Cigars For Warriors. She started volunteering with this organization over the summer and it has allowed her to develop a lot of friendships and a few “Brothers of the Leaf” (BOTL) recommended that she should volunteer with the organization, to get exposure and it would be an excellent fit for her.
“Giving back to our men and women is a humbling feeling, just knowing the cigars are helping with morale is what it’s all about.”
Dallas Cigar Art Queen is our Red Lips Fashionista of the week for being so resilient when she thought things were slipping away from her and still able to work towards achieving her passion for cigars. When asked what does Fashion mean to her, she stated:
“Fashion is about expressing your identity, showing someone who you are through your fashion choices and using your clothes to tell someone something about you. Or at least it is for me- I suppose for some people clothing is just about comfort or utility but for me, it’s about expressing myself.”
Dallas Cigar Art Queen describes her Fashion as being simply Crafted/ Classic Traditional!
